PROJECT INTRODUCTION

The purpose of this project is to establish a fully mechanized agricultural farm which will include production mills and factories phase by phase, first for domestic supply and targeting to export.

With fast growing of economic activities and population in the country, although Myanmar is a resource rich country with sufficient basic food availability at national level, uneven distribution of resources and low investments in key sectors lead an impact on household food security and also agriproduct export are far below the world demand. This project is intending to be a long lasting participant in food security for Myanmar and to participate in raising up country Gross Domestic Product.

Green Sovereignty Co., Ltd. (“GSCL”) will grow rice and other suitable paddy and crops by operating scientifically and utilizing modern machineries.

  • To participate in raising up country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP)
  • To contribute the country in the sector of Job Creations
  • To take part in Myanmar Peace Process through economics, as a “National Task”

ESSENCE OF PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION

BE A PART OF COUNTRY’S FOOD SECUTIRY

Agriculture plays a vital role in the development of nation’s economy. Food security and preventing malnutrition are essential and ensuring food security is one of the greatest challenges facing our community.

Such being situation, GSCL will focus first on the rice sector because of its critical role in food security, and its social and political importance in the country.

One of the development goals set up by GSCL is to increase rice export while maintaining domestic food security. GSCL foresee and believe that increasing rice export will generate the required income to leverage up agricultural development and revive the economy which can alleviate poverty increasing in rural areas.

GSCL’s vision for agriculture is by setting the sustainable development goals, which is an inclusive, sustainable and increasingly productive and robust agricultural sector and establishing a modern and innovative domestic and export-oriented agribusiness base.

UPGRADE LOCAL COMMUNITIES

Through the business, this project could be able to create jobs from tens to hundreds opportunities inclusive of all level educated personnel (un-low-mid-high educated), one phase after another.

The Project will minimize the manual works as much practically as possible and maximize the mechanization in order to make working environment comfortable, safe and happy so that it can lead to make higher productivity in all aspects.

Once this project is successful as expected, GSCL will drag local farmers’ attention, educate them, grow together with GSCL and make their income higher and upgrade their living standard gradually through the Corporate Farming Program of GSCL which is one of the Winning Strategies of GSCL.
